Ethel Verduzco’s photos feel like a summer that will never end. Perhaps this is because she lives in Mexico, where summer really does never end – but for those of us living farther from the equator, the sun-soaked, bright, yet somehow subdued images this 22 year old creates are quite a comfort.

Ethel’s photographs are filled with beautiful colours and scenery we wish we could surround ourselves with when our own homes are covered in snow for what seems like most of the year. Her pictures give us a chance to jump into a reverie of wind-swept hair, bronzed limbs, and wardrobes comprised of anything but puffy winter jackets.

Thanks to Ethel’s photos, when October rolls around, we’ll still be in August – at least in our heads.
